Dr. Roldan is always caring, professional, listens and explains things very well. The office runs very smoothly and professionally. My only critique is that the last couple of times I went, by the time I saw Dr Roldan, it was alShow moremost 30 minutes. They used to always be pretty much on time, always within 5 to 10 minutes at the most. But I still highly recommend Dr Roldan. He took a lot of my arthritis pain away.
Dr.Rolan took time to examine me and explained past laboratory assessment results. He also gave me hope. He outlined a few positive change strategies that will improve my daily functioning. I felt I received quality individual carShow moree. I felt respected and heard. It's difficult to find physicians that treat you like a person, especially when you are a senior citizen. I truely felt valued. I feel safe and most importantly hopeful.
About Dr. Roldan
Jose Roldan, MD, MS, is an expert rheumatologist at Arthritis Associates in San Antonio, Texas. He is board-certified in internal medicine and rheumatology.
Dr. Roldan earned his medical degree from the Institute of Health Sciences in Medellin, Colombia, and a Master of Science in clinical investigation at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. He completed an internal medicine residency and rheumatology fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center (UTHSC) in San Antonio.
Prior to joining Arthritis Associates, Dr. Roldan was a clinical instructor and associate professor of rheumatology at UTHSC in San Antonio. While at UTHSC, he created and directed the lupus and vasculitis clinics. He was also a staff rheumatologist at San Antonio Audie L. Murphy Memorial VA Hospital in Texas.
Dr. Roldan maintains his medical credentials to stay up to date with the latest advances in internal medicine and rheumatology. He is a member of the Bexar County Medical Society, Texas Medical Society, and American College of Rheumatology.
Dr. Roldan compassionately cares for patients ages 12 and older and welcomes them to Arthritis Associates.
