John has an attentive and warm demeanour that makes him easy to connect with. His approach to therapy supports long-term mental health by examining past traumas and managing their ongoing impact while also leaving plenty of room to discuss acute problems and how to process them when necessary. I really appreciate the conversational nature of our sessions: neither of us do all of the talking or listening, which has helped me tease out some insights I otherwise wouldn’t have.
