As a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Lochemes specializes in complex foot and ankle conditions, sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee, and work-related injuries.
Dr. Lochemes earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He went on to complete his residency in orthopedic surgery at The Campbell Clinic at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Aside from his board certification, Dr. Lochemes is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Society.

Explained diagnosis and offered different treatment options.
Liked the doctor but the wait in outside waiting room to see him was too long.
He communicates well. He is direct and honest. Something I appreciate very much in a doctor or healthcare professional. The office environment is nice. I haven’t had much of anything done by him to speak on his services other than 1 hip shot, which gave some partial temporary relief but it was helpful after enduring so much pain. I feel he is honest with the patient regarding his knowledge, experience and expertise. I appreciate that either he or his office staff responds when you reach out via the portal. He is approachable and he and his office team are professional. He seems to be a personable doctor because even though he wasn’t able to help me he talked to me personally and So he is someone with whom you can rely on his response to be his absolute best truth. I unfortunately couldn’t benefit anything for my ailments or needs, however for those who can benefit, I’m sure he is a very fine doctor. I removed the one star because of lack of coordination between the staff with communication, regarding scheduling a follow up for something that wouldn’t be provided. But other than that, I think you would do good to go see him if what you need fits his expertise. A honest, professional, and genuine person is the best you can ask for in a doctor. Oh and my very first visit I was gifted with a cute cosmetic necklace and earrings set. I wasn’t able to wear it due to metal allergies but the gesture is something I will always remember. You don’t get that kind of welcome anywhere that I know of in the area and not much anywhere. I wish him and his team the best.

I was out of town where I slipped and twisted my knee. I could not bend my knee nor put my foot flat on the floor. More than a week later I could barely stand at work and walk. I called the office and I got an appointment the same day. Dr. Lochemes was patient and understanding. He listen to me and showed me an exercise that would help my leg. I would recommend him to anyone that need to see an orthopedic.
Not only is Dr. Lochemes and staff very thorough they also have fabulous customer service and bedside manner. Any nervousness is immediately calmed when interacting with the staff. Dr. Lochemes and his staff are all very knowledgeable and very helpful! Wait times are very short. My interactions with everyone there have been great. Dr. Lochemes understands my specific needs in reference to how my injuries affect my particular workouts and how best to address them. One of the staff, Tracey, has been particularly helpful and patient in helping me navigate some frustrating issues with my pharmacy. That extra help has been very much appreciated!
He is the only Dr. that took me off work when I could not walk

I'm very impressed with his understanding of the health concerns that I have and a plan to go forward to address the problems that I have concerning my shoulders, hands, and legs. X-Rays were preformed at Dr. Lochemes office and he was able to see the results immediately to help in making decisions to address my concerns. The office and patient rooms are great and the receptionist was very nice and professional. Making an appointment was very easy and the insurance information was handled quickly and efficiently. The nurses and staff that helped me on my first visit were very knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Lochemes for his professional services and thoughtful care to help patients feel comfortable and welcome. I have a follow up visit with Dr. Lochemes in two weeks and I look forward to seeing the progress made from the plans that were discussed at the first visit.
