I've been seeing Dr. Bergstrom for about 11 years now and have had nothing but fantastic experiences. Even though I tend to only see her once a year, she always remembers me and even tends to remember parts about our short conversShow moreations from previous visits. I never feel rushed and can tell she is really listening to me. Her exams are always extremely quick yet still extremely gentle, which has really helped alleviate a lot of my anxiety with doctor visits. I recommend her and her practice to anyone looking for a new obgyn.
Dr. Bergstrom aways greets you and inquires about how you are doing. She asks you if you have any questions and takes the time to answer them. I have been with her for 9 years, you couldn’t ask for a better doctor!

Joan Bergstrom, MD, FACOG, MBA, is the founder of Women’s Health Services. With more than 30 years of clinical experience, Dr. Bergstrom was the first female OB/GYN to serve the Arlington and Grand Prairie, Texas, communities. Dr. Bergstrom delivers excellent care for women at all stages of life with compassion, warmth, and respect.
Patients trust Dr. Bergstrom for the treatment of a range of conditions, including uterine fibroids and polyps, urinary incontinence, abnormal bleeding, vaginal and uterine prolapse, and more. Dr. Bergstrom went on to earn her Master of Business Administration from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. In 2012, she became the first woman to serve as chief of staff at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington.
Dr. Bergstrom is a fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and she is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In her leisure time, she enjoys cooking for her family and playing Scrabble with her daughters.

Dr Bergstrom is the consummate professional, always makes my visit personal, answers all questions, and greets me with that warm, wonderful, smile! She has been my gynecologist for many years, and I would not go to anyone else!

Maybe she does care, but I was giving this rating not only because of the front desk letting the phone ring a numerous amount of times, but just the vibe that I felt like Dr. Bergstrom was tired and wanted to be done for the day. She did give some good advice that I did listen to. I have yet to meet a doctor that follows up with you after the appointment and makes you feel like you matter.
Dr. Bergstrom is always willing to listen. She's never in a rush and takes the time to address all of your concerns.
Dr Bergeron was very nice and so was all the staff I met when I arrived.
I am so happy I switched to Dr. Bergstrom. She gave me hope that menopause doesn't have to be horrible.

Check in was quick and appt time was good. I felt time with doctor was rushed . Also many of us older gals have not had any intrusions in that area for many years so please take your time.

I sought out a new gynecologist as my long time doctor had retired and the doctor that had taken his patients was very impersonal. I was referred to Dr. Bergstrom by my primary doctor and I couldn’t have been more pleased. I received personalized care. I have referred a friend who also had a great experience. Dr. Bergstrom asked questions that I hadn’t considered asking her. It’s comforting to know that I now have a doctor that cares about me as a person.

Dr. Bergstrom is the best of the best. This is the kind of doctor everyone should have the privilege to have. She’s thorough, she has a great bedside manor and she listens to what your concerns are and always has her people follow through with whatever she recommends, whether it be an appointment, follow up, test results, etc. she’s a wonderful asset to the medical community!!!

Dr. Bergstrom is amazing! She is so kind and caring! Always answers all of my question's. I had a total abdominal hysterectomy and Dr. Bergstrom and her team were amazing! It was my first surgery ever and it went incredibly smoothly from start to finish! Dr. Bergstrom and her team took such great care of me and I feel so blessed that she is my dr! Thank you!!
