This was my first visit with Dr. Pang. I was a little hesitant to see a new psychiatrist at first, my prior one had retired, but Dr. Pang made me feel so comfortable from the first moment I met him. Unfortunately, I have a lot of Show morechronic conditions and on a long list of medications. Some of these conditions and medication‘s most physicians aren’t even aware of but Dr. Pang was very knowledgeable of all of them. His bedside manner and personality made me feel much better about seeing a new provider. I will definitely be returning.
I just hope that the TMS is going to do what it is supposed to do every one is very kind and helpful Thank you
Jim Pang, Jr., MD, is a board-certified psychiatrist at Interventional Psychiatry Group in Memphis, Tennessee. He has been in practice since 1978 and holds licenses to practice medicine in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Mississippi.
Dr. Pang graduated from Southwestern (now Rhodes College) in 1973 and the University of Arkansas School of Medicine in 1977. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, where he was also chief resident. He came to Memphis in 1987 to work as a psychiatrist and medical director at Lakeside Behavioral Health after teaching psychiatry as an assistant clinical professor at the University of Vermont School of Medicine for six years.
In addition to seeing patients at Methodist Hospital in Memphis and Magnolia Regional Health Center, he is the Chairman of Psychiatry at Saint Francis Hospital in Memphis and the medical director for Delta Behavioral Health in Manila and Blytheville, Arkansas.
When not seeing patients, Dr. Jim Pang, Jr. can be found cheering on the Arkansas Razorbacks. Woo Pig Sooie!

Dr Pang and me had a short visit.
This was my first visit with Dr. Pang. I was a little hesitant to see a new psychiatrist at first, my prior one had retired, but Dr. Pang made me feel so comfortable from the first moment I met him. Unfortunately, I have a lot of chronic conditions and on a long list of medications. Some of these conditions and medication‘s most physicians aren’t even aware of but Dr. Pang was very knowledgeable of all of them. His bedside manner and personality made me feel much better about seeing a new provider. I will definitely be returning.

My meeting with Dr. Pang was wonderful. After explaining in detail what had occurred in my life recently, he quickly provided his diagnosis and did not require any follow-up visits. I was do fortunate to meet him. I especially liked the way the associates were dressed in Christmas costumes.

From the scheduling technician to Dr Pang on the day of my evaluation appointment, every person at this offie was pleasant, professional, and efficient. I was so thankful and impressed to find someone who could and would handle/take on a case like mine. I have a few extra issues that are outside the scope of other practices I have tried/complicate my care as a patient. I am very grateful to have found this group. I was able to book an appointment rather quickly as well! ThankYou!

After check~in and a brief wait I was called in to see Dr. Pitts who is always waiting with a soft unassuming smile~And always allows me to enter Her office first with her hand guiding me to sit in my choice of seating~Dr. Pitts always waits a moment before entering into a conversation giveing me a chance to talk first If I would like ~She then Asks How have I been Doing and All of the Pych. questions of How She could be of Assistance to me with the same smile as She quietly assesses my demeanor ~ and quietly types on Her screen~Dr.Pitts allows me to talk and speak my emotions or ask questions~If she can answer~She does~If Not She will Say ~ I will have to Look into That and We will get answers or try something different~We will get you comfortable or find a method that works~ I truly Like Dr Pitts and feel very Comfortable talking with her ~ If my Meds do not work~ She will work with me until we find What works for me~
It was pleasant and Ms Pitts was patient with my rambling.
