Dr. Shabo is by far the best psychiatrist I have ever seen and I have seen several. She takes time to ask you how you are instead of jumping right into medication talk. Dr. Shabo takes time to explain why she wants you to continueShow more on a certain medication but also explains why she may want to change a medication or a dose then takes time to ask you how you feel about it. I love the fact she gives you a say in your own psychiatric care.
I have been a patient of Dr. Shabo for probably 10 years now, and my son became her patient too about 5 years ago. She is so good, we followed her from her last practice when she moved. She is extremely warm, kind and considerate.Show more She is willing to work with you on your own personal suggestions. She is extremely knowledgeable about side effects to all medications. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Shabo. She is compassionate about her patients. She truly cares.

Dr. Shabo is EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE and she willingly shares her wealth of knowledge with her clients. Dr. Shabo LISTENS attentively! She takes the time to [understandingly] explain her recommended course of action and includes the patient in decision making. Dr. Shabo is diligent and pays attention to detail - what is said as well as what is not said. Dr. Shabo's Team is friendly/welcoming and they get back to you promptly.

I have been under care of Dr. Shabo for over 6 years. She's an amazing psychiatrist. Very well informed of pharmacology and how it works with the brain to help you "problem or need" takes the time to make sure you're on the path to being over all healthy and stable. Highly highly recommend!
