I had my first appointment with Dr Kandt today and I am very happy. He listened to my history, and explained things well. I am happy with the plan he has to help me with my lower back pain. Jeffrey Kandt, MD, is a board-certified physician specializing in pain management. He treats patients at Clarkson Pain and Rehab in Clarkston, Michigan.
Raised in Clinton Township, Michigan, Dr. Kandt graduated from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Shortly after graduation, he attended medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
Dr. Kandt completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Pittsburgh in Pennsylvania before returning to the University of Michigan for his fellowship in interventional pain medicine. Very good at explaining how they’re going to go around and treat the pain levels that are showing in my back. I never would’ve guessed that ablation was done to nerves outside the heart, but I’m just a few weeks away from possibly having relief from six months to two years.
