Jeanna Rendo, NP-C, is a certified nurse practitioner at Idaho Skin Surgery Center practicing out of our Fruitland, Idaho location. Having completed advanced education and clinical training in dermatology, Jeanna is now a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP).
Jeanna is originally from North Central Idaho, where she was raised in Grangeville and attended grade school and high school. Jeanna attended the University of Idaho and then Lewis-Clark State College. She obtained her master of science in nursing at Walden University and specialized in adult gerontology primary health, which focuses on patients 13 years of age and older.
She is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is licensed with the Idaho State Board of Nursing. Prior to joining the dermatology field, she was a nurse for 13 years, working in skilled nursing as well as a local hospital system.
Jeanna feels that it is important to collaborate with her patients when developing a treatment plan that is tailored to their dermatology goals. She has a strong passion for patient education, management of chronic illnesses, skin health, and wound care.
Outside of her position at Idaho Skin Surgery Center, she enjoys fishing, camping, rafting, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their children, as well as their two dogs.
