About Jeanie Tamayo

Jeanie Tamayo MSN, APRN, PNP-AC, is an Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a master's degree from Vanderbilt University.  She earned her undergraduate degree through University of Texas at Arlington.  

She brings over 30 years' experience in pediatric critical care and  

more than a decade of experience as an acute care pediatric nurse practitioner.   

Her practice involves inpatient and outpatient management of pediatric respiratory patients, with a special interest in medically complex children.  

She believes patient care should be a collaboration between the healthcare provider and the family, using evidence-based research as the core foundation for decision making.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, scuba diving and spending time with her family, grandchildren and three dogs.
