I had back issues for 3 years and decided to get it done after reading about Dr. Benae and his practice. I had lumbar surgery on April19, 2024 and it is now October 22, 2024. I am doing extremely well and feeling so much better!Show more If you need back surgery, you need to look no further! He explains everything to the patient, is empathetic and kind. I trust him explicitly and would do surgery with him if need be. The Staff is caring, friendly and very helpful.
Born in Cameroon, and raised in Paris, France, Dr. Jean Louis Benae came to the United States at the age of 20 to attend the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). He pursued a degree in Physiological Sciences and graduated with honors. He continued his education at the David Geffen UCLA School of Medicine, where he obtained his Doctorate in Medicine.
During his graduate medical education, his fascination for neuroscience led him to a neurotrauma research fellowship with the UCLA Brain Injury Research Center. After completing his research fellowship, Dr. Benae began his neurosurgery specialty training at the Medical College of Wisconsin Affiliated Hospitals in Milwaukee.
Throughout his extensive training and professional experience, Dr. Benae has accrued remarkable versatility with complex spine and minimally invasive spine surgery.

Dr. Benae is a very caring Doctor that wants nothing but the best for his patients. He will send you to PT, he will have you receive injections, his last resort is surgery if PT and injections do not work. He did back surgery on me back in 2017 and now it looks like I will need neck surgery. I trust him completely and look forward to my neck surgery. He is a wonderful Doctor. I recommend Dr. Benae highly!

I just recently had my third surgery with Dr Benea. He doesn't just look at you and say yeah you need to have surgery he is very thorough with what kind of injury I had explained everything how he was going to go about fixing my issue I live in West Fort Worth and drive all the way to North McKinney because I really like him

The staff is always friendly and Dr Benae always explains what he's looking at on the MRI. I've been seeing him since 2016.
