Very good doctor. The setup is fairly easy.

You listens carefully even when I don’t understand myself. I would love to share what you have brought into my family & made our situation better, but the input may make others love you just as hard as I do. This has been my first experience under the care of a psychiatrist and I am please and appreciative of the care and compassion I have received since I starting see Dr. Chowdhury in 2021.

Dr. Chowdhury is outstanding. She is so kind, encouraging, and helpful. Although she is extremely busy, our appointments never feel rushed. She genuinely cares about her patients as individuals and has helped me immensely.
Dr. Chowdhury is clearly committed to new strategies. She has used novel approaches to my care, for example, genetic testing. She is the first doctor in 20 years to recognize that certain medications will not work because of my "sensitive gene". This was truly a light bulb moment because I had been traumatized by many doctors who had given me meds that didn't work. It only exasperated my condition. Now, I feel empowered. She empowers the patient by giving encouragement, compassion, and HOPE!
Dr. Chowdhury has truly been an amazing help! She listens to the things that have happened in your life and are currently happening and works with you to figure out exactly how to work on those areas! She teaches you about mindful living which for me has been breath work, meditation, Journaling, mindful movement, getting into nature, and easing your way into social activities! Implementing these daily have given me more mental freedom and clarity than I could have wished for! Thank you!
She’s the best dr around
I think Dr. Chowdhury is awesome. I was really upset when my doctor left town for a new position. I was very nervous about starting over; however, establishing rapport with her was very easy. Her pleasant attitude made me feel comfortable. I think I was paired with one of their best doctors!

I am a nurse and started seeing Dr. Chowdury after struggling through covid. I have appreciated the care and support I have gotten to her and am in such a better place mentally, emotionally, and physically. Since seeing the positive effects of mental health care on myself, I have really become a strong advocate for my friends and family to seek mental health treatment and I would recommend Dr. Chowdury to anyone. I love too that she does telemedicine because that works so well with my schedule.

Dr.Chowdhury is absolutely amazing. Dr.Chowdhury listens and makes you feel comfortable. Dr. Chowdhury definitely looks out for the best interest of the patient and is willing to go the extra mile in order to help you. Alabama Physciatry has been top notch in my journey with mental illness. I can’t say enough about the staff and Drs they are all amazing.
I love how the Dr has worked with me to get my meds balanced out. I feel like a different person now & Dr Chowdhury has taken her time to ask me the questions that has helped her diagnosed everything I need. I would definitely recommend her. Clear, positive, open to questions, explained changes twice, complimented my opinion of mental illness, made effort to know my needs, took time to keep accurate records.
Dr. Chowdhury offers subtle advice on wellness of thought as well as diagnosis and therapeutic treatment with medicine. The conjunction of therapy and medication is shown to be much more effective than medications alone. Therapy for wellness of thought is shown to be just as constructive as medications through a variety of current research in contemporary journal articles. It is great to know that I have a therapist and medical doctor all in one. I learn something new every time!
Dr. Chodwdhury is awesome. She took lots of time with me and I felt like she really heard and understood what I was telling her. She is sympathetic and compassionate. I would highly recommend her.
