About Jared Wong, PA

Jared Wong, PA-C, is passionate about going the extra mile for every patient at IMAC Medical Group in Newhall, California. 

Jared graduated from Touro College School of Health Sciences in New York with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences and a Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Earth Sciences from the University of California Santa Cruz in Santa Cruz, California. Jared graduated in the top third of his class for all degree programs.

After his academic studies, Jared went on to become certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Basic Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He is also certified to teach life support.

Jared is extremely dedicated to his profession and holds himself to a high standard of excellence. Before joining IMAC Medical Group, Jared had over 12,400 hours of hands-on clinical experience, with prior hospital experience to treat a large range of medical issues. He served in multiple Emergency Rooms such as the 1,000 bed Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in New York, Queens Hospital and Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY, and Victorville Hospital in CA. In addition to working at IMAC, Jared also works in the Emergency Room of a local private hospital in Thousand Oaks, California.

Outside of his medical care, Jared continues to find opportunities to serve his communities through volunteer work. He served on the Los Angeles Search and Rescue team, worked a year-long internship as an Investigator with the Public Defenders Office in Santa Cruz, and was a member of the Hurricane Katrina Victim Relief Team in New Orleans. He also spent six months investigating forgotten medications at the Ancient Medicine Man Research Project in La Paz, Bolivia.

When he's not in the office, Jared can be found surfing. Jared is passionate about the overall health and well being of every patient he sees.
