I had a Sym-One test yesterday with Dr. Scott, and to be honest I didn't really know what to expect when I walked in. The whole process - from the initial paperwork to the actual procedure - was as smooth as possible. Everything wShow moreas explained to me in great detail, and I didn't feel a thing! Kudos to Dan (the P.A.) who not only assisted Dr. Scott but also helped make it a very positive experience.

Jared Scott, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist and a fellowship-trianed and board-certified Mohs surgery specialist at Idaho Skin Surgery Center, practicing out of both our Fruitland and Boise, Idaho, locations.
Dr. Scott is a native of Boise and completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Boise State University. He then attended medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine. His dermatology training included residency at the University of Washington and, thereafter, a year-long fellowship in Mohs Micrographic & Dermatologic Surgery at Yale University.
Dr. Scott is excited to live in his hometown to serve the entire Treasure Valley and community of southwestern Idaho, specializing in the care of patients with skin cancer. He spends as much time as possible with his family and in the outdoors, especially mountain biking, and feels so fortunate to live and work in his hometown.
Dr. Scott emphasizes outstanding patient care with his empathetic and supportive bedside manner. He is known for his personal follow-up and love for helping others. Patient satisfaction in all aspects remains Dr. Scott’s number one priority. He is board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American College of Mohs Surgery, and the American Society of Dermatology Surgery.

I had a cist removed from my lower back on Tuesday. I wouldn't say it was a great experience because it hurt like crazy to have the numbing shots. But to get it done and over with and off my back, was worth the pain and embarrassment, and Dr Scott did a great job despite my embarrassment.
