Dr. Nassiri’s educational path began in his hometown at the University of Southern California, where he graduated with Honors, earning a degree in Exercise Science. From there, his journey took him to the East Coast, where he achieved a Master’s Degree and Medical Doctorate from the Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Nassiri then returned to his beloved Los Angeles, expanding his medical knowledge with an internship in general surgery, with residency training in Anesthesiology, and is now double-board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology and the American Board of Pain Medicine.
Using his extensive training, Dr. Nassiri treats both chronic pain conditions, as well as seeks to promote awareness of these extremely debilitating ailments. His primary focus is tailoring treatments to suit specific patient needs, working to improve their lives as effectively as possible. Due to his background, Dr. Nassiri is now a Senior Consultant at HealthHelp, and was recently promoted to Medical Director of the Pain and Musculoskeletal Program. Dr. Nassiri has been asked to review and provide his expert medical opinion in the legal field, working with attornies to assist with complex cases.

Dr. Nassiri is a real professional. He is a throw back to simpler times. He is always available for questions and when you have an appointment, with him, he will give you all the time you need. He is the 3rd doctor to give me an Epidural and the first one to give me the relief from pain I hopped for.
Always great service from him and staff , short wait time , extremely satisfied with the procedures I. would highly recommend him clean office and super friendly crew.

I was referred to Dr Nassiri from my back surgeon to R/O having low back surgery.I have been to several Pain Specialist over 25 yrs due to failed low back surgery.Dr Nassiri listen to me and after a few minutes he said, I will do my best to get you some relief from my pain. I am a 78 year old medically retired physician (psychiatrist) suffering from chronic pain and physical limitations caused by chronic neurologic and orthopedic conditions. Dr. Nassiri has the knowledge, empathy, patience and compassion that are greatly appreciated by me in my struggle to deal with my chronic problems. I am comforted to know that he is always there for me just like I used to be available for my patients.

Dr. Massino is extremely knowledgeable but takes the time to get to know you as a patient, unlike some doctors who only spend a few minutes with patients. Would highly recommend and will be seeing him again.

I booked an appointment easily using the online system, got a confirmation within minutes, and experienced one of a kind care and attention from his staff, from start to finish. Dr. Nassiri is kind, attentive, and really understood my issue - being that is was somewhat unusual and complicated. We came up with a great treatment plan, and I'm looking forward to my upcoming visits. To add to this, I had a minimally urgent situation after hours, and his answering service assistant was so caring and considerate, and the Dr was also available within minutes of my call - I've never experienced this with any other practitioner. Truly a great practice, doctor, and staff.
