Dr. Kim graduated from Duke University and SUNY College of Optometry and is a NY State licensed optometrist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, a distinction less than 10% of practicing optometrists hold. Dr. Kim provides medical eye exams, contact lens fittings, ocular disease diagnosis and treatment, pediatric exams, and weekend emergency eye care services. His background includes experience working several years at a glaucoma specialty practice and at various retail opticals throughout New York City seeing a wide array of patients and practice modalities.

First of all his store front office is very fun and inventive and perfect for the Willamsburg/Bushwick area and I live in East Harlem I’d been to two other optometrists already and yet felt my particular issue with contacts was not being understood or prescribed correctly. Dr Kim is personable smart helpful which is not as easy to find as one would hope

Dr. Kim gave me a thorough exam and walked me through changes I was seeing in my eyes. He paid great attention to detail and made me very comfortable. I love the office space too and it’s great that they offer 3D printed custom frames!
