I love the level of accountability, challenge, and humor Jimmy easily weaves into each session. I always leave with a new nugget of information, a better understanding of myself and how my brain works, and encouragement to make small tweaks in my actions and thinking.
James does such a nice job of connecting with my teenage son. His care has been a game changer for the mental health of our whole family.
James is so easy to talk to. He made my son feel very comfortable with expressing his feelings.
Jimmy has been a great fit for me as a provider. The environment is casual and welcoming while still feeling intimate and secure. This is my first time seeking therapy so I didn't have any pre-set expectations other than desiring a provider who listened and challenged me. Jimmy is insightful and thoughtful and always leaves me with a nugget of wisdom or clarity that I reflect on until my next appointment.

I was planning to phone you, to congratulate you on inventing toy soldier therapy. Then I remembered that a large part of your practice is children. Toys -- that's the key concept! I'm happy I'm still into toys.

Jimmy is one of the best - if not the best - providers of child mental health that I have ever met. He listens and is attentive, is intuitive when speaking to his patients, and makes sure he understands the concerns of the parents as well. Our experience has been fantastic and I would highly recommend him (and have!) to others.
The care and support of his patients is just amazing. His availability for questions and concerns is above and beyond normal expectations. We are grateful for his knowledge, compassion, and approachability. Exceptional!
