After completing her bachelor's degree in neurobiology at Long Island University, Dr. Kogan earned her medical degree from the Ross University School of Medicine, followed by a residency in neurology at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University, and an internship at Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn. She completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology, gaining in-depth experience in electromyography (EMG) and electroencephalography (EEG), followed by a fellowship in epilepsy and intraoperative monitoring at Weill Cornell Medical College.
In addition to her private practice, Dr. Kogan is an attending physician at Lutheran Medical Center and holds an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College where she serves as clinical instructor of neurology. Committed to advancing her knowledge and skills in neurology, she maintains active memberships in several medical societies, including the American Academy of Neurology and Neurophysiology, the American Epilepsy Society, the American Association of Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society.

The low rating is not for the doctor since my father didn’t even get to see her. The appointment was made online, and multiple texts confirming this appointment were answered. Day before the visit, receptionist called to confirm again, and i said yes, my dad will be there. Then when we finally arrive for the appointment, we are told that doctor no longer takes my father’s insurance (even though it’s still listed on her website). I took off from work, my son took off from work so he could bring my elderly father to the office. This is such disrespect for our time, never mind my father’s age. According to the receptionist she called night before and left a message, but none of that registered on my phone. After 7-8 texts and a call confirming the appointment, the most important call didn’t make it through? Please do better for others in the future.
