Experienced pain management specialist Ike Malik, MD, is the founder of Texas Pain & Orthopedics in Pflugerville, Texas. He focuses on conservative and minimally invasive care of orthopedic injuries, emphasizing pain management, functional restoration, and rehabilitation.
Dr. Malik attended the University of Texas at Austin for his biology, molecular biology, and pre-medical undergraduate studies. In 2011, he earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine.
In 2017, Dr. Malik completed a fellowship in anesthesia and pain medicine at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He was also a clinical and research fellow in non-surgical orthopedics, electrodiagnostic medicine, and sports medicine.
Dr. Malik is a traumatic brain injury evaluator with government certification in neurology and brain injuries and works with the Veterans Evaluation Services in Houston, Texas. He is also board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
In March 2020, Dr. Malik established Texas Pain & Orthopedics to provide exceptional care for patients in the Central Texas area. He looks forward to helping people in his community lead rewarding, pain-free lives.
