Heidi has always had a passion for movement and helping others be their healthiest. She started her career in the field of health with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology degree from Mississippi College, then pursued her Master of Science in health promotion degree from Mississippi State University.
With her eye on public health and wanting to care for her community she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Holy Cross in New Orleans,La. She started her career in Neuro ICU at Tulane Hospital in New Orleans and after gaining experience, she started traveling in neuro, trauma, and medical ICUs around the country.
Helping others become holistically healthy has always been her passion. She wanted to advocate for patients’ health and help derive a plan of care that would improve their outcomes, so she went to graduate school to get her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Nicholls State University.
Becoming a medical cannabis provider was important to her because she wanted to help reduce the stigma of cannabis. Through education about the mechanism of action of the different cannabinoids, she hopes to provide a better understanding of how the plant works to patients. She also is passionate about providing patients with options, besides medicine, to treat their ailments.
