I've been going to Dr. McCoy for several years. She is always pleasant and professional. She is very thorough and explains issues well.

Dr. McCoy graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry and obtained a Bachelor of Science in zoology at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. She then completed a primary care/ocular disease residency through the Portland VA Medical Center.
Since finishing her residency, she has worked at a health medical organization for the past five years, where she has managed a lot of ocular diseases, including diabetes, macular degeneration, and glaucoma. She has also routinely treated patients for same day appointments through urgent care services or via urgent referrals from providers in other departments.
When Dr. McCoy is not working at Rocky Mountain Eye Center, she enjoys being active outdoors. She enjoys recreational activities like skiing, hiking, and backpacking with her partner and their two dogs. Dr. McCoy also enjoys reading, painting, and music.

Although the wait times were a bit longer than normal, I was satisfied with my eye exam and the staff at Rocky Mtn. Eye. I had not been to an eye exam in four or five decades, and that would add to the delay in getting paperwork up and rolling.
Thorough exam after cataract surgery. Dr. McCoy evaluated my new vision levels and wrote a prescription for new glasses that would cover my needs. I was able to find a pair of glasses that I liked. Overall pleased with the appointment!
