Guadalupe M. Torres, APRN (also known as Lupe), has been a nurse practitioner specializing in women’s health for over 25 years. She works closely with patients at MyDoc Women’s Health Specialists in Boca Raton, Florida, providing compassionate and thorough care.
She completed her Bachelor of Science in nursing at the University of Illinois in Chicago, Illinois. After graduating, Lupe attended Rush University in Chicago, Illinois, where she earned a Master of Science in maternal-child nursing. Her passion for women’s health led her back to the University of Illinois, where she obtained a Post-Master of Science in women’s health care.
She is a nationally-certified advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) with fluency in Spanish and enjoys working with patients from diverse cultures and customs. Lupe’s specialties include contraceptives, IUDs/implants, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections, and adolescent care.
As a women’s health care nurse practitioner, she believes in empathy, developing a trusting relationship with her patients, and educating them on meeting their optimal health.
Lupe has been married to Jaime for over 30 years and has three grown children. When not at work, she enjoys working with her succulent plants, traveling, watching international movies, volunteering for the Gold Coast Down Syndrome Organization Spanish group, and following the FIGHTING ILLINI basketball and football teams with her family.
