All of the staff, including Dr. Matthews were friendly and created a comfortable environment. After a very brief discussion, Dr. Matthews and I decided on a medication that she would prescribe, but she didn’t even tell me the nameShow more of it, and I didn’t realize that until after I left. She just told me what kind of pill it was. I went to my pharmacy later that day to pick it up and they didn’t even have anything on record of the prescription being sent over. Dr. Matthews didn’t go over the instructions for taking the pill, which again I didn’t realize until after the visit. I have taken similar ones before so I guess she assumed I knew, but I still feel like she should have gone over it with me, especially since this is a different one and is taken slightly differently, based on what I’ve read online. Overall an okay visit, but I’m going to have to call the office to see what happened to my prescription
Jeannie is great but the wait time before being seen is consistently too long. This is my third visit and each time, the waiting room has been full or nearly full, and I have witnessed patients/clients frustrated with their wait tShow moreime and repeatedly asking front desk staff “how much longer?” As such, the office appears disorganized, and communication between staff seems lacking. The tech came into my treatment room (the door was closed) as I was getting dressed to start turning the room for the next patient. She didn’t realize I was in there and was startled when she saw me. Some system flaws such as that could use some work. But every practitioner I have seen once I am in the treatment room has been caring, compassionate, and knowledgeable.
Gina Ranieri, DO is an OB/GYN who specializes in minimally invasive and complex gynecologic surgery. She graduated summa cum laude from Schreyer Honors College at The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Ranieri completed her medical school training at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She went on to complete her OB/GYN residency training at ChristianaCare in Delaware. I have recommended this practice to several friends and colleagues. A few who have teenage daughters were looking for a practice that was focused solely on women’s health. This is the perfect peaceful, supportive and cozy atmosphere all women deserve. I wish I had the chance to discover this practice and these doctors 30 years ago!

In my first interaction (and by phone), with Dr. Gibbons, I appreciated that she came prepared. She knew my history, and I felt seen. She also displayed knowledge of her field and communicated it. This made me feel reassured going forward.

Dr. Gibbons is a rarity among her field in that she really does listen to my concerns however strange they may be and gives me understandable and compassionate answers and guidance. When people complain about the wait, realize that this amount of care comes at a cost. I bring a book and realize that when I see her, I leave feeling like I have an amazing advocate for my health. Also, Victoria was just so great, never met anyone on the staff who was so knowledgeable, sweet and funny.
