Gerald F. Gaughan, MD, is a highly experienced physical medicine and rehabilitation physician at Doctors United, with offices in the West Farms and Wakefield neighborhoods in the White Plains, and Ardsley, New York. Dr. Gaughan focuses on enhancing and restoring the functional abilities and quality of life for his patients with physical impairments and disabilities.
After earning his Doctor of Medicine at the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center (now known as SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University) in Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Gaughan completed a one-year medicine internship at New Rochelle Hospital (now known as Montefiore New Rochelle Hospital) in New Rochelle, New York.
Dr. Gaughan then went on to complete his anesthesia residency at Montefiore Medical Center, the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, in the Bronx, followed by his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York.
He is board-certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of New York.

The staff were very nice and helpful. The doctor and manager were great! I was able to get seen and plan treatment as well as get my needed paperwork completed.
It was a disaster. I arrived on time, waited about 30 minutes, saw a chiropractor whom I was not scheduled to see for his assessment -which I had already had with a hand specialist, & then when I was cleared to see Dr Gaughan, an hour later, he left for lunch-watched him walk out the door& he was expected to be gone 30-45 minutes. Ridiculous & awful planning/communication. I walked out & will find another dr for the EMG-complete & total disregard for my time & scheduled appointment. What’s most shocking is they seemed surprised that gives t willing to wait over 2 hours. Incredibly unprofessional and disrespectful.
