Gary Griffieth, MD, is a board-certified pediatrician at Cornerstone Pediatrics, PLLC, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Dr. Griffieth is also board certified in developmental-behavioral pediatrics, allowing him to evaluate and provide treatment strategies for children with a wide range of developmental and behavioral problems.
Dr. Griffieth earned his Bachelor of Arts in psychology at Stanford University in 1972, and his Doctor of Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine in 1977. After completing his pediatric residency at the Albert Einstein-Bronx Municipal Hospital in New York, Dr. Griffieth moved to San Francisco’s East Bay area in California. While there, he worked for the United States Public Health Service in the inner city of West Berkeley and East Oakland. He eventually entered private practice pediatrics in 1983 until his return to the East Coast in 1984 to join Dr. Constance Glasgow in upstate New York.
Dr. Griffieth maintains hospital privileges at the Ellis-Bellevue Hospital in Schenectady, New York. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Griffieth has been an integral member of several church-sponsored missionary teams providing medical care to rural areas of Mexico and, most recently, to the slum areas of Nairobi, Kenya, in 2011 and 2012.
When he’s not practicing medicine, Dr. Griffieth enjoys spending time with his two adult sons, being outdoors, gardening, reading, and playing the piano and conga drums.

I've had a few children over the years. Being military it's hard to find a good pediatrician for your babies. His wife and him are downright the BEST in my eyes. I was very lucky to have found them when I moved here 3 years ago. They are both very kind and loving. He's very thorough about everything and loves to talk and addresses every concern you may have. A practice like this is like finding a needle in a haystack. I'll be very sad when the day comes and we have to pcs.
Our daughter has been a patient since 2017. We owe Dr G so much for the accomplishments and milestones she has reached. He is very involved in the treatment and care of are daughter and takes the time to listen to all concerns. Phenomenal physician!!
Dr Griffith is such a good doctor. He takes the time to get to know your child and develops a playful and heart warming relationship with the child and parents too. My baby loves him! Also nurse Kathy is such a wonderful lady, and gives a lot of attention to your needs. She is patient and loving to our family. Thank you Dr. Griffith and Kathy.

We love Dr. Griffieth's doctor office. It's always welcoming. Both Nurse Griffieth and Dr. Griffieth have amazing attention to detail and recall things about each of my four children. Very grateful for their service to the youth of Clarksville, TN. I can't imagine taking my children anywhere else!

Nurse Kathy and Dr. Griffieth are a phenomenal team! After receiving mediocre care during my pregnancy, I searched far a wide for a pediatricians office I could trust for my baby girl. Since the very first visit a couple months ago, my daughter has seen this team 3x and the attention to detail is awesome.
