I have had many psychiatrists in the past. Gale Levin is by far the best I have ever had. No one ever asked about what was happening with me, I literally would be in the office for 5 minutes, just long enough for them to write my script. Gale wants to know how all areas of your life are going so that she can make sure you are on the right medicine and heading down the right path. I look forward to our meetings.
I was nervous about this meeting. Then about 4 or 5 minutes later Dr. Levin and I were talking so easily that all of my apprehensions were gone.
Dr. Levin asked me an array of questions to get my full background. I felt she was thorough and understood where I was coming from. She made me feel comfortable and I found myself sharing very personal issues with her. I look forward to many helpful meetings with her.

She is the most compassionate, thorough psychiatrist I've ever encountered. At this point in my life I've had several psychiatrists and she's literally the only one who has requested blood work and gone through the results painstakingly to ensure I have no anomalous results which could indicate a physiological disorder which could also explain my symptoms. This is what one needs when seeking Psychiatric help; it isn't necessarily Psychiatric in nature always, or perhaps both.
