About Dr. Olaru

Gabriela Olaru, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist serving patients at V CARE OB/GYN in the Upper East Side of New York City. She treats women for a spectrum of sexual and reproductive health complications and provides thorough, efficient well-woman exams to adolescents and women of all ages.

Dr. Olaru attended medical school at Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Victor Babes Facultatea de Medicina in Timișoara, Romania. She then moved to the United States to complete her residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York.

Dr. Olaru has over two decades of experience treating women and helping them better understand their bodies. She primarily serves patients at V CARE OB/GYN and holds affiliation with Lenox Hill Hospital in the Upper East Side of New York City.

they do not automatically approve appointments (i assume), so after scheduling one I only received an email stating I requested it and not that I was approved. Did not get any email approving my appointment, called the day of my appointment and was on hold for 15 minutes so I just never showed up. The office needs to get it together.
