Went in for PET scan at 6:30am. Dreama had my clipboard w/ paperwork waiting for me on the desk, upon entry. She addressed me by name immediately - very friendly. Scan was timely, as soon as I completed the little bit of paperworShow morek. Dreama also administered the IV and scan. She was great in starting my IV (as I have difficult veins) and in facilitating the scan itself. Friendly & calming. Offered me coffee afterward...and I was out in 30 min. Easy PZ experience! No pain/discomfort. Recommend!
While the test I had provided some physically uncomfortable moments, I so appreciated the attentive care that I was given by both Kristina & George. The ladies at the front desk were very kind, making certain that I felt goodShow more enough to walk to my car & drive myself home as/after the effects of the medication administered during the test were wearing off.
Gabe Vorobiof, MD, is the Director of Cardiac PET Partners in Encino, California. He has 20 years of experience in advanced cardiovascular imaging techniques, including cardiac PET.
He was previously Director of Adult Non-Invasive Cardiology Laboratories at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center and the UCLA Cardiovascular Center. He is currently an associate clinical professor of cardiology and medical & molecular pharmacology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Dr. Vorobiof completed medical school training at Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa, followed by an internship at the famed Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital in Soweto. He then undertook Senior House Officer training at the University of Cape Town’s Groote Schuur Hospital (famous for the world’s first successful heart transplant). He completed internal medicine training at Columbia University’s St. Luke’s Roosevelt Medical Center in Manhattan, New York, followed by a cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, New York. He then pursued advanced training in cardiac PET, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and vascular imaging at Harvard Medical School’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
He was previously on faculty in the Departments of Cardiology & Radiology as an assistant professor at Yale New Haven Hospital. Following his move to California, he assumed the Directorship of Cardiac Imaging at the University of California Irvine’s Long Beach Memorial Medical Center under Dr. Jagat Narula.
Dr. Vorobiof is married, has three beautiful children, and lives in Calabasas, California.

Visit was OK, but should have informed me would have to wait 2 hours Because they saw a patient early in the day that was 45 minutes late and it backed up their whole schedule.

Considering the 30 minutes for the procedure, the time flu by, my Technician kept tabs on me , insuring my comfort and updated me on the time issue to my satisfaction. Couldn't have ben more relaxed.

All I got there on time lucky there was no waiting. The nurse was very caring and and help me out with a nice warm blanket and then she said I'll see you in a half an hour put me in the machine and I had a nap for about half an hour. Wasn't such a bad thing after all good job thank you
