My first experience with Dr. Ditz was extremely positive. Not only is the office meticulously clean and organized, Dr. Ditz himself took more time with me than any doctor I’ve ever met. He went line by line through all questions aShow morend concerns and took detailed notes in his computer. He actually gave a physical exam and took notes unlike most doctors who mark the exam as normal but do not then actually perform any exam. I’ve been in the medical field for about 20 years, 14 of those as a managing pharmacist and Dr. Ditz was more professional than any other doctor I’ve met personally or professionally in that time. Frank Ditz, MD, is a skilled and experienced family practice physician with a passion for personalized care. Through his work at Family Practice of Suntree and Viera in Melbourne, Florida, Dr. Ditz is honored to play a role in helping those in his care to improve their health and wellness.
Education has always been an important part of Dr. Ditz’s life. He began his studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he attended on an academic scholarship and graduated with honors. He then focused on earning his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland.
Upon graduating and receiving his commission as an officer in the United States Air Force, Dr. Ditz completed his internship and residency in family practice at David Grant USAF Medical Center and the University of California, Davis, School of Medicine. He is proud of his 14 years of service in the United States Air Force.
While serving, Dr. Ditz was selected to study at the School of Aerospace Medicine in the role of flight surgeon. He was one of only a few physicians certified to go through 9G training required to fly in any type of fighter aircraft.
Despite receiving numerous attractive offers, including the opportunity to rise to the level of Lieutenant Colonel, Dr. Ditz left the military to pursue his dream of going into private practice. Over more than two decades in practice, Dr. Ditz has developed expertise in many areas of practice. He’s also led seminars and lectures for physicians and other medical professionals across a wide range of fields.

Dr Ditz saved my life. On my first visit he discovered a very advanced cancer. I had gone faithfully every year for an annual check up with a doctor that was a part of a large medical group. He never noticed the cancer. Dr Ditz did save my life!

Doctor Dietz is not only the most knowledgeable doctor i have ever dealt with, but is a complete professional. Not only him, but his whole staff are definitely the best I have been surrounded by.
Dr Ditz is very through when he meets with his patients. He not only asks many questions, he also records the information in his computer unlike all the other doctors that have their assistance get & record the information provided. I believe this practice helps him to know his patients health profile exceptionally well. I am very fortunate to have him as my primary care doctor.
I know I can trust him. He knows the answer before I can articulate the problem, then presents a workable solution. He is like the Sherlock Holmes of Doctors. Just the best feeling of knowing you’re in safe hands, trust is the operative word. He has put together a brilliant, kind staff who treat you like family!
A co-worker recommended this practice to me, I had a great first visit with Dr. Ditz. He was very thorough, and went into depth with me about all of my concerns and medical history. I feel like he took my concerns seriously and is working closely with me to get me feeling my best. Tammy was extremely kind and very helpful as well.
