Francisco Cruz, MD, PA, is a skilled internist serving patients in and around Miami, Florida. From his office, Dr. Cruz and his team bring unmatched care to patients and their families.
Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, Dr. Cruz received his Doctorate of Medicine from The Higher Institute of Medical Sciences of Havana in 1988. He completed his specialty training in Family Medicine in 1993.
Relocating to the United States, Dr. Cruz completed his Internal Medicine residency through the Raritan Bay Medical Center, affiliated with Robert Wood Johnson University, and served as Chief Resident. He practiced in Miami for several years following, and finally opened his private practice in 2005. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians.
With experience working as a hospitalist for 20 years, Dr. Cruz was part of the credential department and a member of the Executive Committee for many years at Jackson South Hospital. He served as a Medical Director in several Skilled Nursing facilities, leading excellent service for post-acute and long-term care.
Dr. Cruz has been practicing Internal Medicine in Florida for over two decades at different levels of care. He prides himself in providing excellent, personal care to all his patients to help prevent minor to significant health issues and treat them.
Dr. Cruz loves being part of the Miami community and spends time with his family when not in the office.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cruz for over five years if you are looking for one of the very best doctors in Miami, then you need to come and see Dr. Cruz I am legally blind and I can tell you when I became homeless Dr and his staff was so concerned and caring about my situation. He actually wrote a letter for me so I could present to try to get Housing as I slept in the airport for many years is a non-nonsense doctor that cares about you 100% and Mimi excellent caring concern about you the patient I love Dr. goose and I will continue to be a patient of his for above and beyond this lifetime, God bless him, and God bless the staff I feel like I am family.
