It is such a pleasure to be part of the team here at Lake Grove Family Medical. I was born and raised in California and have trained in many different places all over the country. I received my medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and I completed my residency in family medicine at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) affiliated BON Secours St. Francis Family Medicine Residency program.
My specialties include full spectrum family medicine and have had previous experience managing low- risk prenatal care. I love caring for all ages and have always had a special interest in preventive care, mental health, and women’s health. I have many different views and approaches to every patient’s wellness as it is important to treat the whole person, addressing not only the physical needs, but the emotional needs as well. I work well with my patients to help incorporate lifestyle changes and believe that it is important to work together as a team to help them achieve good health.
In my off time, I like to spend time with my family. I love traveling and learning new cultures, photography, cooking/eating, playing music, and crafting.

My office visit was the 6 mo. Follow up for my yearly physical. Everything was great as usual. Check process is quick and easy. They are prepared for you coming in. My meeting with Christie S. was fabulous. She is an amazing listener and asks questions to get right to the core of the issue. I highly recommend Lake Grove Medical Clinic. They are very Caring people.
