For the last 15 years I had suffered from debilitating "white coat syndrome". No physicals, blood pressure or blood sugar checks, nothing. Even going to the optometrist made me violently ill. Then I started going to Dr. Ampofo. She never pushed me out of my comfort zone. She gently guided and reassured me, and today, for the 1st time in 15 years, I was able to check my blood pressure. I couldn't have ever done that with any other doctor. She is wonderful and is truly helping me improve my life.
