About Dr. Errol Segall, MD

Errol Segall, MD, is a psychiatrist specializing in general psychiatry, psychopharmacology, addiction, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders at Northern Virginia Psychiatric Group in Fairfax, Virginia. 

After graduating from Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Segall earned his Doctor of Medicine at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.

He went on to complete postgraduate training at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, DC: a one-year internship in internal medicine, a year of neurology training, and residency training in psychiatry. 

Dr. Segall holds board certification with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He’s also a professional member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM).

Dr. Segall joined Northern Virginia Psychiatric Group in 1982 and is one of the senior partners.

He has been awarded on several occasions to be on the Top Doctors List from Northern Virginia Magazine.

Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Segall still feels quite rooted in the Midwest.
