I went in today to be seen for a very painful abscess. Much to my horror, it had broken on the way there and it was bleeding when I got there. I was embarrassed because it was (for lack of a better word) gross, but everyone there Show moremade me feel very comfortable and at ease immediately. Emma and staff took excellent care of me. Emma was very empathetic, knowledgeable, and thorough. By the time I was ready to leave, I felt much better due to the care I received, knowing that I was on the road to recovery. Emma also mentioned that she would be there the next three days if I needed anything after my visit and provided excellent aftercare instructions. The amount of care and compassion that I received at this visit helped relieve my embarrassment and I am now in less pain due to the excellent care I received. I can’t thank everyone enough for their time and help today, especially Emma. I have visited this practice before and have always been very happy with the way I have been treated, both personally and for my condition(s). If I could give more than five stars, I would! I highly recommend this practice and especially Emma!

Emma Rodts, PA-C, is an energetic and passionate physician assistant at Select Family Practice in Raleigh, North Carolina. She is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of the patients that she serves.
Emma is originally from Fayetteville, North Carolina. She attended North Carolina State University as a Park Scholar and graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in human biology. Emma then attended Methodist University’s Physician Assistant Program, where she earned her Master of Medical Science degree. After graduating, Emma joined Select Family Practice, and she is excited to offer comprehensive primary care and urgent care services to the Raleigh community.
Emma’s interests include allergies and asthma, working with pediatric and young adolescent populations, treating anxiety and depression, and medical aesthetics including Botox.
Outside of her practice, Emma enjoys spending time with her husband and family, practicing pilates, and going to NC State football games.
