About Emily Lyda, RPSGT

Emily Lyda, RPSGT, is a registered polysomnographic technologist with 15 years of experience at Own Sleep Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri, and Vancouver, Washington. She is passionate about the well-being of her patients and provides the highest quality testing to ensure the most accurate outcomes.

Before attending the School of Polysomnography in Tacoma, Washington, Ms. Lyda earned her fine arts degree at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon. She then completed the Providence Health Polysomnography Externship Program in Portland, Oregon. 

Before joining the team at Sleep Medicine, Ms. Lyda gained valuable experience as a registered sleep technologist providing patient care in a sleep laboratory in Beaverton, Oregon, a sleep laboratory and pulmonology clinic in Topeka, Kansas, and a sleep laboratory in Kansas City, Missouri. 

She served as the lead registered sleep technologist at a sleep disorder center in Portland, Oregon, serving patients 16 and older. Ms. Lyda was also the supervisor of a sleep lab in Milwaukie, Oregon.
