Elsa Santellano, APRN, FNP-C, MSN, is a compassionate and patient-centered family nurse practitioner at Border Clinic, PLLC, located in Laredo and Zapata, Texas. Elsa started her career in nursing in 2011, and has since then enjoyed working with patients on improving their health and wellness.
Elsa earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Texas A&M International University. Following the program, she worked as a registered nurse for 11 years before continuing with her master’s degree in nursing at the university.
She has a passion to share her knowledge with others and help them with their medical needs. She continually strives to improve her patients’ experiences and places strong emphasis on developing her professional skills.
While working in the critical care unit, Elsa gained insight into caring for patients with critical conditions and received extensive training in various diseases. She is also certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners as a family nurse practitioner.

She even determined that I was not taking a medicine that I was supposed to have continued taking after my release from the hospital.
