Douglas E. Rittenhouse, MD, FACOG, is an experienced ob-gyn dedicated to providing the highest-quality care to women in and around Daly City, CA, and throughout the Greater San Francisco Bay area. Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Rittenhouse provides women with a comprehensive array of obstetric and gynecological care options, including well woman exams, adolescent gynecology, care for menopause issues, treatment of uterine fibroids, contraception counseling, treatment for infertility, pregnancy care and state-of-the-art minimally-invasive surgical procedures.

After earning his bachelor of science degree in biology at San Jose State University, Dr. Rittenhouse completed his medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine followed by his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of California-San Francisco.

As a top area provider of women's health services and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Rittenhouse is committed to remaining up to date on novel and evolving approaches to care, and remains active in several professional medical organizations, including the American Medical Association, the California Medical Association, the San Francisco Medical Society and the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists.
