Dr. Plagens informed be that my only choice was knee replacement surgery. He explained that it is not joint replacement but putting a cap on the bones with a lubricant in the joint. Sounded positive to me.
Not only is Dr. Plagens an outstanding doctor but he is very compassionate and a good listener. He always makes me feel important and he isn’t in a rush to finish my appointment.

Amazing doctor. Nice people that work there . Clean.
Dr. Plagens has always been a straight shooter, he is decisive, and he has a very reassuring and practical approach to orthopedic care.
Dr Plagens is great! He takes the time to answer questions and concerns. He is very caring and down to earth. I can’t say I look forward to my next knee replacement but when it’s ready I will have Dr Plagens do it.
Very good they only thing I had to wait a long time but every one was very nice and helpful
Outstanding
Dr Plagens is the very best. Very compassionate and thorough. I had several surgeries, all went very well, and pain was controlled. I would recommended him highly. Also if he is good enough for the red wings, he good enough for me.
Answered all. Concerns
Very caring. Passionate physician. Gives it to you straight and recmends best options at the time. I drove 30 plus miles to see Dr. Plegans. I wouldn't have gone to anyone else. I am very happy with his recommendation and went with it. I might add very gentle as well.
Couldn't open my finger for two months. Dr. Plagens gave me one injection and opened my finger. Problem solved! I would certainly recommend him to anyone with a "trigger" finger!
The Office staff did a terrific job adjusting due to doctor’s last minute schedule change and accommodating my schedule. The best thing was the triage care I received from Dr. Platens. I saw another doctor before coming to this appointment and felt like the rushed through triaging my injury and pain. I left feeling like I found the best doctor and care.
Very good

Very efficient office. Dr. Plagens was a pleasure to meet with. He explained everything well and provided needed treatment. Highly recommend him in need of his specialty.
The good Professional, friendly staff The bad Was there a long time,
Dr. PLAGENS knows how to put your mind at ease with no pressure or stress on top of being a very professional excellent surgeon. I’ve recommended him to many and they have recommended him to others as well.
It was very nice..everyone was very pleasant.. it didn't take very long to see Dr Plegans after I filled out papers...I recommend anyone who has issues to schedule with their clinic..
Dr Plagens is awesome, personable and very easy to talk to. He takes time with you and doesn’t rush. I don’t particularly like sitting in the waiting room though where every time I have an appointment they have the VIEW on. It’s a sickening politically structured show. Most people I speak with there hate it.
Always a great experience. I look forward to seeing Dr. Plagens & the staff. Kind & friendly always.
Dr. Plagens explains the procedure and what to expect where it’s easy to understand. He has a great “bed side” manner and is willing to listen to you. I had my hip replaced almost three years ago and he did an excellent job. Now, I’m back to eventually get my knee replaced.
