My name is Bryan, I don’t normally do reviews but in this case I will because this is such an important topic. I have been seeing Dr.Abochamh for about 17 years. I am 70 years old with afib. Under his guidance and care I have onlShow morey had two times where I went out of rhythm both times were on the weekend naturally. One call and he dropped whatever he was doing to take care of me. His knowledge is extraordinary,his bedside manner can’t be beat. I can’t say enough about this man. Thanks Bryan

Dia Abochamh, MD, is a cardiovascular disease specialist at Gulf Coast Cardiology Group PLLC in Port Arthur, Texas. Dr. Abochamh moved to the Port Arthur area from Oklahoma City, where he had a very busy cardiology practice. Because the traffic in that area did not allow him to reach his patients in a timely manner in case of an emergency, he decided to move to a smaller city of Port Arthur so that he could provide his patients with the best care available, including emergency care.
Prior to being in Oklahoma City, he trained in cardiovascular diseases at Louisiana State University Health Science Center. He trained for four years in cardiology and sub-specialized in electrophysiology and arrhythmia therapy. He also had additional training in interventional cardiology and angioplasty of all vessels in the human body. He also performed a research echo fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He is board certified in internal medicine as well as cardiovascular disease. Dr. Abochamh has published several papers in reputed journals throughout his career.
Dr. Abochamh is a very nice and caring physician, and caring for patients is his prime goal. He spends time liberally with his patients to help them understand and follow his recommendations. Besides general and interventional cardiology, his other areas of interest include peripheral angioplasty, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, pacemaker placement, and heart failure management. He has privileges to perform his patient care in all area hospitals, including The Medical Center, St. Mary Hospital, and Renaissance Hospital.

Couldn’t have asked for a sweeter loving Dr. he is caring and loving towards his patients. When he told me I had 3 blocked arteries 99,98 & 90 percent blocked I asked what are you going to do? He replayed I going to fix it! And he he did and I feel great! Thank you so much Doc!!! Love ya!
Dr. Abochamh is fantastic, he goes above and beyond to explain things in plain terms. He's extremely knowledgeable and truly cares for patients in his charge. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Abochamh is the absolute best! He not only is a great doctor but has become like family to us. When all other doctors gave up on our 88 year old Mother Dr. A. was there for us and saved her. We had another 3 years with her. He had been her cardiologist for many years and believed in her strength. I would absolutely recommend him for his knowledgeable and caring manner!

Dr Abochamh provides great attention to my care once he arrives in the room. My only complaint is the disregard to my time. All the times I've gone to the office, I've spent hours waiting. To me, this is disrespectful to the patient.
