About Dhara Patel, OTR/L

Dhara Patel, OTR/L, is a dedicated occupational therapist at A Grade Therapy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Specializing in sensory integrative techniques, Dhara brings expertise in working with children with developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism, and sensory processing disorders.

She has a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Brenau University and a B.S. in Biology from UNC Charlotte. With a collaborative, play-based approach, Dhara empowers children to build independence and achieve developmental milestones while respecting each family’s unique cultural values. Her diverse experiences in pediatric home health, hippotherapy, and hospital care have solidified her passion for early intervention and her commitment to celebrating every child’s progress.

Outside the therapy room, Dhara enjoys cooking, reading, and cherishing moments with loved ones. Her holistic perspective and compassionate care make her an invaluable partner for families navigating the challenges of childhood development.

Dhara’s mission is to provide therapy that inspires confidence, independence, and joy, helping children and families thrive.
