Very responsive and easy to talk to
Dr. Jalan is very attentive and listens to my problems, no matter how small they seem to me. He also does not immediately jump to prescribing medication but rather urges careful monitoring of symptoms over days/weeks and ruling out physical health problems before considering changes to psychiatric medication. I really appreciate this approach.

Dr. Jalan is my favorite of all the psychiatrists I've ever been to. He has a very holistic lens on medication management and takes time to check in about other domains of life that may or may not impact medication needs. I also enjoy the collaborative tone he takes of problem solving through certain challenges, he invites my expertise on myself and bridges what I'm noticing with his medical expertise.
