Dr. Gupta is fellowship-trained in neurology & neuromuscular disease, electrodiagnostic medicine, and neurophysiology from the University of Tennessee at Memphis, where she also served as chief resident in the last year of her neurology residency. Dr. Gupta is board-certified in these disciplines, and she is an is an active member of the American Medical Association, the Peripheral Nerve Society, and the International Nerve Consortium.
As an award-winning physician whose work has been published in peer-reviewed medical journals, Dr. Gupta has presented her research at both national and international conferences. She continues to involve herself in neuropathy, neuropathic pain, and neurological disease research.

Dr. Gupta provides advanced testing and treatment for patients who have suffered a stroke and widely supports stroke education. She started the Stroke Program at Richardson Regional Medical center in 2010 and got it its Primary stroke Certification.
Patients 18 and above receive treatment from Dr. Gupta and her friendly, caring team. She works with each patient individually to identify the causes of their neurological disorders and improve each patient’s condition and quality of life.

Dr Gupta is extremely pompous and condescending. Every patient is different yes or no does not always explain a medical problem/condition's. She is more interested in talking at you than with you having no problem being rude and interrupting but is offended if done her, treating patient’s as uneducated ten year old obviously makes her feel good. The one thing she agreed with me on is I need to see different Neurologist. Have to laugh she had to interrupt me again regarding not coming back so she could try and make her’s way to much hubris

The hole office staff is carrying a d helpful. Dr Gupta takes the time to lesson to all of your concerns and likes to keep in touch with your other doctors.
I was very disappointed in the care I received from Dr Gupta. Even though, she noted I had several types of neuropathy she insisted all of my pain came from fibromyalgia which she doesn't treat. Save your money and time on this doctor and go somewhere else.
