Dennis Garcia, OD, is a Doctor of Optometry at Bulls Eye Care located in Tampa, Florida. He provides full-scope primary eye care for the entire family. Dr. Garcia grew up in Tampa and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences before continuing on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He received honors in clinical care at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Garcia has provided eye care in a number of clinical settings, including a diabetic and macular disease rotation at Nova Southeastern University, an externship at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina, and an externship at a private practice in Melbourne, Florida. Dr. Garcia practiced in Virginia and North Carolina for several years before he and his wife decided to return back to their hometown in 2016. Now back in Tampa, Dr. Garcia and his wife enjoy raising their two kids.

I went to Dr. Garcia for a routine rye exam and he was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and has a lovely demeanor. His staff was on point and answered all of my questions before my appointment. His rate for an exam is less than most of the larger vision offices. I would highly recommend Dr. Garcia for any of my vision needs.

After visiting Tampa Eye center on MLK and getting a prescription for glasses I had the glasses made and was unable to see correctly. I returned for a follow up visit and was told it was a fault of the lenses. Went to another location and had the same problem. Went to Doctor Garcia and he tested me. He found nothing wrong with my eyes but the prescription was wrong. Finally I will be able no to see in 3-D and further than 100 ft. Thanks Doctors Garcia
