Dennis Garcia, OD, is a Doctor of Optometry at Bulls Eye Care located in Tampa, Florida. He provides full-scope primary eye care for the entire family. His special areas of interest include specialty contact lenses, pediatric vision, low vision, and the treatment of ocular disease with the use of state-of-the-art equipment.
Dr. Garcia grew up in Tampa and graduated from the University of South Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences before continuing on to receive his Doctor of Optometry degree from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale. He received honors in clinical care at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Garcia has provided eye care in a number of clinical settings, including a diabetic and macular disease rotation at Nova Southeastern University, an externship at the W.G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina, and an externship at a private practice in Melbourne, Florida. Dr. Garcia practiced in Virginia and North Carolina for several years before he and his wife decided to return back to their hometown in 2016. Now back in Tampa, Dr. Garcia and his wife enjoy raising their two kids.

Prep staff was efficient, and had most of the exam complete. Doc we able to come in and conduct relevant tests, and complete the exam in minutes.

I went to Dr. Garcia for a routine rye exam and he was excellent! He was very knowledgeable and has a lovely demeanor. His staff was on point and answered all of my questions before my appointment. His rate for an exam is less than most of the larger vision offices. I would highly recommend Dr. Garcia for any of my vision needs.
