About Denise Labriola, DPT

Hi! My name is Denise. But you can call me D, or Dr. D. I have been a pediatric physical therapist since 2006. I love working with children and will gladly tell you that adults bore me! I am a wife, a mom to 3, and grandmother to 2. I currently have 2 pups, and 1 old lady cat who is very much stuck in her old lady ways. I am an endurance athlete and have participated in half marathons, triathlons and even Ironman events. I have brightly colored hair that changes color frequently, but currently is purple. But if you are curious my favorite color is orange, and yes, my hair was that color for a while too. I am currently a CME II certified therapist. I have also been trained and certified in Therasuit Method and the Universal Exercise Unit . I have a passion for Assistive Technology and received my ATACP from Cal State Northridge in April of 2021 to be able to help my clients just that much more. Although Denise primarily works with children, I am a 59 year old adult. I have been working with Denise since April. and I can honestly say she has made a huge difference in my life. I just finished my first intensive with her and. I saw big improvements in my daily living skills. She is one of the most knowledgeable PT"s I've ever met about Cerebral Palsy. it is rare to find somebody in Arizona that. Is familiar with the Spider Cage and therasuit. I know she is great with kids!

We have been working with Denise for weekly PT, and will be switching to intensives for a number of reasons for our daughter. Her commitment to progress is unmatched in the intensive world. We have been doing intensives for years and we still lean on Denise for continued support in between intensives more so than our local team of therapists. Communication and Commitment is 10 stars
