Dr. Deirdre Johnson Gundy is a board-certified gynecologist with over 30 years of experience. A graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine, she completed her residency at prestigious institutions including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Stony Brook.
Dr. Deirdre Johnson Gundy previously served as an assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Drexel University College of Medicine and led the implementation of a minimally invasive gynecologic surgery program at Mercy Philadelphia Hospital in 2012. She is passionate about training the next generation of physicians and has mentored numerous residents in advanced surgical techniques.
Dr. Deirdre Johnson Gundy is committed to providing comprehensive women's healthcare, focusing on the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of her patients. Since my first visit as Dr. McBride's patient, she has always been very compassionate and understanding especially after everything I had gone through with the passing of my parents, the stress of selling my home and moving, and consequently being diagnosed with depression and alopecia. Her innate humanity as well as the fantastic care she has given me especially after she was able to diagnose my endometriosis are what stands out.
I always feel so informed and taken care of under the care of Dr.McBride!
