Dr. Dalal and his staff are a rare find. I struggled for years to figure out the cause of everything that was happening to my body. Not having any answers, and feeling dismissed by a previous Dr., I felt it was now affecting me meShow morentally. My PCP had mentioned Dr. Dalal several times, and I finally gave in early last year and made the appt. It was without a doubt, one of the best decisions in my life. Dr. Dalal came into that examining room knowing more about me then I knew about myself. Within the first few minutes of our first conversation, he said he knew what it was, and then went on to draw out how he came to that conclusion. All I could do was cry, because I finally felt validated, he listened and took the initiative to look at all of my records to put all the pieces together. I wish all Dr.'s were like Dr. Dalal

Deepan Dalal MD, MPH, RhMSUS, is a board-certified internal medicine physician and rheumatologist at RI Rheumatology, providing comprehensive rheumatology care to people in Cranston, Rhode Island, and throughout Providence County.
Dr. Dalal was born and raised in India. He began pursuing his career at TN Medical College in Mumbai, earning his Doctor of Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Dalal moved to the United States. He completed an internal medicine residency at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and a rheumatology fellowship at Boston University Medical Center in Massachusetts. He also obtained a master’s degree in public health from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. Before entering private practice, he spent almost 7 years as a teaching faculty at Brown University, and he continues to serve as an adjunct teaching faculty at Brown University.
At RI Rheumatology, Dr. Dalal diagnoses and treats various rheumatic diseases, including osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and lupus. He takes a patient-centered and minimally invasive treatment approach, emphasizing healthy lifestyle changes.

My appointment was awesome, Dr Dalla gave me more information in 20 minutes than I had learned in my last 6 visits to the doctor's offices I have been to in regards to my condition. Great office staff very cheerful and positive, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit.

He is very knowledgeable and explained the good and bad about surgeries and medications. He is very conservable in his treatment. He also spoke to my daughter on the phone which was very nice. Thank you
As always Dr Dalal is thorough and clear and compassionate. I am always included in the treatment plan decisions. As an aside, one of Dr Dalal's first questions was to ask how my new dog was adjusting!!
