Dawn earned her bachelor's degree at Northern Illinois University in Dekalb County, Illinois. She then completed a Master of Science in Nursing with Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from the University of Missouri in St. Louis, Missouri.
Before joining the experienced and compassionate team at Millennium Pediatrics, Dawn worked as an inpatient staff nurse in the Neuroscience Unit at the Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago and also at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital in Missouri. In addition to caring for patients from newborn through age 19 at Millennium Pediatrics, Dawn teaches at the University of St. Francis College of Nursing in Joliet, Illinois.
When she’s not working, Dawn enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children at their home in the western suburbs of Chicago

Doctor Dawn is very helpful. This is our second time in the year that we needed to take a same day appointment. The appointments are always there for sick visits. I like that Doctor Dawn doesn't leave the room, till all the concerns are addressed, and she always encourages to call if any symptoms get worse. The nurse practitioner are very helpful super thanks to them. After putting message on answering machine for help, nurse practitioner will always call back and will provide necessary guidance. Being a first time mom and going to the pediatrician can be overwhelming. But from the beginning dawn listened to all our concerns, validated them but gave the best medical advice.
