Quick , though and friendly
Dr. Westra is a great doctor. He reviews my case before my appointments. He takes time to listen to me and discuss my problems and options for me. I really like he come to get me and then walks me out. He is very knowable.
Procedure went as expected. Felt as though I’d been run over by a train, I guess that is to be expected as it’s major surgery. No complications, healing well. Continuing to improve.
I am so beyond grateful to have Dr Westra as he always takes his patients best interest to heart. Thank you so very very much.

Dr. Westra is a great Neurosurgeon! I suffered from severe sciatica for many years. I had a spinal fusion in April 2024 and the sciatic nerve flare ups and attacks have nearly diminished. Dr. Westra is very thorough, professional and I highly recommend him!

First time I met Dr. Westra. Very informative consultation. He took the time to go over some of my images and explained in layman’s terms what they showed. Made a solid recommendation which I agreed with.
Vert good.
DR. Westra, talk to me on a level that I understand and showed me my Cat scan. We talked about the possibilities of muscle and nerve damage in my left shoulder area. MRI, and review later for results.

Great doctor
I was welcomed by pleasant staff, the “wait time” was reasonable and I appreciated Dr Westra’s careful explanation to me of what my MRI findings were, and what plans he is recommending for my future. Additionally, I called the office later, after my appointment, because there were several questions I had forgotten to ask. I got answers back the same day!
The doctor was clear, giving me great information and scheduling me for a physical therapy through Kaiser. Thank you, Dr Westra
