He received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and his general surgery training at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine Chattanooga. He then completed a two-year fellowship in vascular surgery at the University of Arkansas under Dr. Robert Barnes. After practicing in Chattanooga for two years, he joined Dr. Costantino in practice in 1998.
