When I first met him, Dr. Rosenblum seemed distant and a little cold. It seemed like his main interest was cutting my narcotic meds. However, after several sessions where I unfortunately described a significant increase in back paShow morein, I found him to be much more compassionate and open than on first impression. He offered me options which none of my other pain management docs had been able to do (I don't think they were certified to do the treatments he suggested). I trust him much more than I did on first impression and I think that he is becoming a partner in my treatment to a greater extent that the other MDs that I have consulted about my back (full disclosure: in the past 10 years I have only consulted with three docs in total (one of whom retired). If I had been working with him longer, I would probably have given him five stars.
Being very nervous. when I arrived, the office was very clean & the pictures of nature & the armorer was soothing. The two (2) receptionists were polite & professional. As for the P.A., Sarah she was extremely accurate in asking qShow moreuestions & her demeaner was very calming & she had a great disposition. When Dr. Rosenblum entered his demeaner was comforting & relaxing considering why we were there. He analyzed the situation & his diagnosis to pinpoint what was needed for me was spot on. Of all the doctors I have seen he is by far the best.
David Rosenblum, MD, is co-owner and primary clinic director at AABP Integrative Pain Care, with offices in the Bensonhurst neighborhood in Brooklyn, and Great Neck, New York.
Dr. Rosenblum is an interventional pain management specialist and dual board-certified in anesthesia and pain medicine. He takes a whole-person approach to pain, looking at all modifiable factors, such as diet and poor ergonomics, to ease symptoms and prevent further pain or injury.
After receiving his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel, Dr. Rosenblum relocated to New York City, completing his internal medicine internship and residency program at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital (currently Mount Sinai West) in Manhattan.
Dr. Rosenblum completed his fellowship training at New York University (NYU), which included three years of training in anesthesia.
A leader in the fields of interventional pain management and regional anesthesiology, Dr. Rosenblum has developed protocols and policies to improve patient safety. His particular interests include regional anesthesia (using local anesthetics to block pain) and ultrasound-guided nerve blocks.
Dr. Rosenblum represents the department of anesthesiology at the Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, developing pain management programs for obstetric, orthopedic, cancer, and other patients.
