After an injury, I was happy to get an appointment the day I called, and the in-office X-ray lab is max convenient. Everyone is very nice -lab tech, PA, doctor, front desk. But would it fatally mess up the time:money ratio to speaShow morek a little slower and ask if any other questions. IOW it did feel rushed and transactional (this and a previous visit for a different problem) but since my medical needs were met I shouldn’t complain?

About Dr. Lent
Board-certified orthopedic surgeon David Lent, MD, FAAOS, provides outstanding services to patients at the Yonkers office of SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER ORTHOPEDICS AND SPORTS MEDICINE in New York.
Dr. Lent serves as the chief of the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, along with serving his patients at SOUTHERN WESTCHESTER ORTHOPEDICS AND SPORTS MEDICINE.
Dr. Lent specializes in orthopedic trauma and sports medicine and works with many local athletes. His expertise extends to joint replacement surgery, including robot-assisted total hip, total knee, and partial knee replacement.
Dr. Lent received his bachelor's degree from Yeshiva University in New York City, then earned his medical degree from NYU Robert I. Grossman School of Medicine, also in New York City.
He completed general surgery and orthopedic residencies at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx, New York City, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at both the Staten Island University Hospital in Staten Island and the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York.
Dr. Lent has extensive experience in robot-assisted joint replacement surgery and is an instructor for Stryker's Mako® technology. He travels around the world teaching other surgeons about robot-assisted joint replacement.
He is a leader in minimally invasive surgery using advanced arthroscopic techniques, performing procedures such as ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) reconstruction in the knee and SLAP (superior labrum from anterior to posterior) repair in the shoulder.
Dr. Lent is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He has been selected for the Castle Connolly Top Doctors List, is consistently named as a Top Doctor in the Westchester community, and has been recognized in Westchester Magazine's Top Doctors list for five consecutive years.

His office is very competent and friendly. The man who takes x-rays is very knowledgeable and experienced. He is also comforting. Dr. David Lent is an expert diagnostician and practitioner. I had 100% confidence in his expertise. I felt so safe with him despite my painful injury. Great experience!!
